PAINTER PANTS

These pants are a reimagining of 1980s painter pants from a certain workwear brand.
While retaining the rugged atmosphere of the original, with its three-needle stitching and robust details, modern comfort has been added.
Both sides of the waist feature a tab and elastic adjustment, allowing them to be worn without a belt.
The front opening has been changed to a button fly, achieving both a vintage-like look and a relaxed fit.
The material used is a dry-feeling dump fabric woven with high-density, strong-twisted yarn.
For the finish, the traditional Omi-sarashi technique from Shiga's Omi region is employed. After bleaching with lye and sun-drying, natural wrinkles and a soft texture are brought out.
The crispness characteristic of strong-twisted yarn and its dry feel away from the skin ensure comfortable wear even in hot weather.
The dyeing is finished with plant-derived botanical dyes.
Using natural dyes creates deep, nuanced colors with variations and subtle depth, resulting in a finish where each piece has its own unique character.

Care for Botanical Dyed Products

To enjoy the fading color for longer, hand washing with a neutral detergent is recommended.

Colors may transfer to other items, so please wash separately.

Do not use fluorescent brighteners or bleach.

After washing, please dry in the shade.

Color may fade when exposed to citrus fruit juice. If it comes into contact, rinse immediately.

Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or lighting may cause discoloration. Do not leave in sunny places; store in a dark place.
