OMBRE CHECK SS SHIRT

An open-collar, short-sleeved aloha shirt.
The material is an original ombre check fabric woven from acetate, cotton, and rayon. Taking advantage of the dyeing absorption properties of the materials, the acetate and cotton-rayon parts are dyed differently, so that the ombre check pattern emerges after dyeing.

This season, we adopted "Chusen," a traditional Japanese dyeing technique. Artisans roll up and tie each product with string, then drip dye from above and draw it up from below, creating a unique gradation and deep color. Furthermore, by using dyes that do not color the acetate parts, we achieved a unique look that combines ombre checks and uneven dyeing.

About the gray color

To create the gray color, red dyes are mixed in. Therefore, due to the nature of uneven dyeing by chusen, a faint reddish tint may be visible in some places, but please enjoy it as a characteristic of the technique.
