M44 UTILITY JACKET

This piece reconstructs the utility jacket adopted by the US Marine Corps (USMC) in the 1940s, serving as a successor to the M-43 jacket.
Its appeal lies in its modern arrangement, combining practicality with design.
The front features the gas flap specification of the time, and large-capacity three-dimensional pockets are placed on both sides.
Furthermore, slash pockets, not present in the original, have been added to the sides to enhance convenience as hand warmers. The fabric uses original cotton twill that achieves both appropriate thickness and lightness. The striped jacquard lines add a subtle touch of individuality.
By degumming and washer processing, it achieves a soft texture and natural wrinkle feeling, as if it has been laundered. The dyeing is finished with botanical dyes derived from plants.By using naturally derived dyes, deep colors with unevenness and subtle variations are created, resulting in a finish where each item has its own unique character. It is a new staple military jacket that combines a classic appearance with modern comfort.

Care instructions for botanical dyed products

To enjoy the color fading for a longer period, we recommend hand washing with a neutral detergent.

Colors may transfer to other items, so please wash separately.

Do not use fluorescent agents or bleach.

After washing, please dry in the shade.

The color may fade when exposed to citrus juice. If it comes into contact, rinse immediately.

Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or lighting may cause discoloration. Do not leave in direct sunlight; store in a dark place.
